Our event returns in 2027 for its 4th edition, promising another year filled with adventure, challenges and, above all, the pleasure of riding!
The key ingredients that have made previous editions so successful are still here: varied, challenging and carefully designed routes, with a few adjustments to make the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you are a recreational cyclist, a lover of beautiful scenery or a dedicated competitor, there is a challenge for everyone, with routes ranging from 41 to 139 km. There is just one motto: enjoy the ride.
From the very first kilometres, the iconic Mont Rochard and Montaigu climbs set the tone. They are the two highest points in the Mayenne department and are regularly featured in professional cycling races. The route then heads east through the Mayenne countryside, crossing the majestic Forêt de Pail before reaching Saint-Léonard-des-Bois, a stunning natural setting in the heart of the Alpes Mancelles.
With its rolling hills, dramatic cliffs and river, this exceptional landscape offers a wonderfully unspoilt setting where every pedal stroke is an opportunity to enjoy the scenery.
The route then follows the Sarthe River before heading into the magnificent Forêt de Sillé-le-Guillaume and passing its large lake. The combination of woodland, water and changing light creates a unique atmosphere along this section of the route.
The return towards the Coëvrons brings even more highlights, taking you through some of the area’s most emblematic landscapes, including the Forêt de la Grande Charnie and the Bois de l’Essart, before reaching the unmissable medieval town of Sainte-Suzanne. Listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in France, Sainte-Suzanne overlooks the valley from its rocky promontory and offers spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.
The final kilometres are more rolling, giving everyone the chance to make the most of the last part of this adventure before crossing the finish line in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
From the high points of the Coëvrons to the valleys of the Sarthe, via the spectacular landscapes of the Alpes Mancelles, this 4th edition is an invitation to discover a region of remarkable diversity, with roads and scenery to suit every kind of cyclist.
We hope that the 2027 edition will once again be all about friendship, enjoyment and a great atmosphere… and that the sun will make another appearance to showcase these beautiful roads at their very best!

The event is part of the Fédération Française de Cyclisme’s Trophée Label d’Or, a mark of quality and recognition for prestigious cycling events.
Please note:
• E-bikes are permitted, except on the Grand route.
• Participation is open to riders aged 14 and over, depending on the route chosen.
